'Family should share': Teen hijacks his brother's car for a late-night joyride then leaves his older brother stranded for work, so the eldest sets up a trap for the next time he tries to hijack his car

When this teenager got his driver's license, he was feral with his newfound freedom. However, without a car of his own, he resorted to literal theft, stealing his big brother's car so that he could cruise the town in the middle of the night. But when his 40-hour work week older bro was left stranded the morning before a workday, he realized he had to nip his little brother's joyrides in the bud. 

In the only way siblings know how, the eldest set up a trap that would leave his teenage brother begging for permission the next time he wanted to borrow the car. Perhaps next time, he'll even wash it and fill up the tank.

  • Siblings know how to get revenge against each other in the most creative ways. Knowing our sibling rivalries will have minimal consequences inspires us to really do our worst when it comes to a brother or sister. Hilariously, this elder brother found a nice way to teach his entitled teenage brother a lesson in property ownership by setting a trap around the car he was so desperate to “share.”

  • Ok_Bit19... Being the baby of the family of all boys, i was the last to get anything. My parents never played favorites, and it was very clear what was expected of us growing up. We all got jobs at 16/17, we all helped pay for gas and a small portion of our own insurance.

  • Sharing implies permission from the owner. What your brother is doing is stealing, even if he brought it back. Tell him the next time he wants to steal your car (not getting permission first) you'll just call the cops. .
